These gnarly tones are designed for Bass Guitars, from E1 Standard down to G0.

• For use with “as-is” in the DAW, with a “FRFR” (full range, flat response) rig, or “direct to FOH”.
FRNS DNG BSS
Tight, aggressive and dark balancing clarity and mass for super-low tunings like G0.
VNS PSV BSS
Gnarly, dark, grinding bass tone with a tight bottom fashioned for low tuned, fast, heavy riffs.
VNS ACT BSS
Same as VNS PSV BSS but tweaked for active pickups. May perform well on certain passive pickups as well.
WTLNDS BSS610
Thick, “American Rock” bass sound pushed with a grimy overdrive. The 6x10 cab gives the amp a punchy, low mid tone. Great for popping the bass out of the mix.
WTLNDS BSS810
The same head as the 610 but with a 8x10 cab to darken up the amp and offer a thicker, low mid tone. A better choice for “nestling” the bass into the mix and beefing up the bottom.
Without Cab IRs Folder
• Preamp only, non pickup specific versions of the above tones tweaked for use with a power amp & cab, user IRs, or an external IR loader. May require additional tweaking depending on instrument pairing.
VNS BSS NC
Grinding yet clear and tight bass tone.
FRNS BSS NC
Tight, aggressive clarity and mass for super-low tunings like G0.
WTLNDS BSS NC
That thick, “American Rock” bass sound but without a cab to use with a real power amp and cabinet for live use.
Loading the Tones:
Step 1 - Connect and sync your Helix hardware to your computer via the HX Edit app. For Helix Native, open the Helix Native app.
Step 2 - Drag the desired tone from the With Cabs Folder or the Without Cabs Folder into the “PRESETS” menu column on the left side of either HX Edit or Helix Native.
Step 3 - Play CRUSHING riffs!
