While members in another short lived project, Bunn’s experimentation in contrasting soggy, lazy riffs with hyper, blasting beats piqued the curiosity of vocalist Theo Kaps.

Immediately on the heels of the collapse of the previous project, the duo threw Venns into action releasing the "Red Carpet" EP to a spot in the top five on the Bandcamp charts. Unprepared to capitalize on this surprise attention, the project went cold. 

Nine years later, rejuvenated in a shift of Bunn activities, Venns released the "Team Sports" EP signing with Zegema Beach Records for a limited-edition vinyl release. 

While the project’s public image remains quiet, Bunn and Kaps continue in the shadows, inching towards the rendering of yet another batch of nervous, frustrated music.
